There are 4 or 5 tails tied together, from different "donors."

They arrive very tightly bound, wound with heavy twine. On some, I have added additional bindings, and used glue under the binding.

A legitimate fear. As such, they are brushed very carefully, making sure any tangles are gently removed. I mist them with water, as it acts as a lubricant when brushing.
