How about Roz and Daphne from the original Frasier? In the first two seasons Daphne's hair was pretty long (mid-back) but she wore it semi-up a lot of the time.

Also in the first two seasons, Roz's hair was really full, even through it was just below shoulder length.

Those first two seasons would be a good place to start with them.
