Thanks for your understanding. I feel you on this, sometimes she doesn’t mind it but most of the time she can’t stand having her hair long enough to flow down her back. I love her hair being long too, she’s of Mexican and Native American heritage and has the best hair genes for long sleek dark brown hair that is just so amazing to behold and touch. She knows how I feel I actually worked up the nerve to tell her today even though it caused friction but my plan is to try and start attending to her hair now while it is shorter to gain the confidence that I need to help her with her hair as it hopefully grows long again. I don’t have my hopes up too much and I am still sad about this recent cut. 8 inches was what she had cut off too, it is scary and I feel your anxiety on this, her hair was to her lower back and now it’s about 2 to 2.5 inches just past her shoulders. I’ve been crying quietly for the past 2 days since she cut it on Monday.
