Actually when the metric system was supposed to be put in place, so many people protested that the government of the time backed away from it.

(Can you imagine, people were saying that it would cost them more to buy gasoline because you would need more liter than gallons to fill up the car. What a buch of moron we can be at times!)

We rule the world and we prefer to use an old archaic system were most measurments were deteernimed by the size of different bodyparts of some acient people.

One day, we will succeed in imposing OUR English system to the WORLD, then and only then, will we be true masters of the universe...
