I still wouldn't want to do it myself though. To me, getting all that sticky goo in clean silky hair seems a bit too much like desecration, or even vandalism. Just my opinion.

Yes, to each his (or her) own. Most definitely. I probably overreact a little on this subject because there are some people on this forum who seem to think of nothing else with regard to hair, and I get a bit fed up with them banging on about it. Just my opinion again. They are, of course, free to say what they like (as long as it's not abusive).
