I didn't watch the show you mention (I live in England), but I very much agree with you on general principles. I like hair as natural as possible - no perms, no sprays, no colouring. Colouring (especially bleaching) seems to take the life and shine out of hair.


I did a rant here a year or two ago about how beautiful "ordinary" brown hair can be. If only more ladies had the confidence to believe that any hair colour can be lovely, if its healthy and shiny, there wouldn't be so many bottle blondes around.


And yes, even though I'm a brunette man myself, I think Judy Starr looked better as a blonde.
