Russian (Eastern Europian) women look the same as most Americans (Anglos) so they usally will not fall into a different ethnic group.

Asians do and don't look like use so they tend to be more mysterious. Plus Asains tend to be small (Petite) with brown skin which alot of anglo men like.

In Thailand or in most parts of Asia it is reversed and the white (Light Skin) women is desired.

Please don't worry, I've talked to a lot of Anglo men that find no attraction to Asians. My answer to them has always remained the same, "great, more for me".
