Is this a competition for the worst German anyone can write, or what?

I am German and very much a language person. What I would like to say is that out of respect to most visitors to this board, let us stick to English as a lingua franca. And out of respect to the German language,

please handle it differently when you do use it here.

From typical mistakes in a lot of people´s English posts, though, I have already concluded that there must be quite some regular visitors here whose first language is German.

That does not come as a surprise to me at all, since we are not really spoiled here in Germany when it comes to long hair (at least in everyday life). My wife´s shoulder-blade length hair should be the longest female hair in town if I am not mistaken....

The only consolation is that the most wonderful Marianne lives only 100 km away.
