Just in case some of you have missed this, the latest free version of Realplayer makes it very easy to download from Youtube and similar streaming videos. It installs some software in Firefox and Internet Explorer so that on moving the cursor over the video screen a button 'Download this video' appears at the top right hand corner. By default it downloads to something like C:My DocumentsMy Videos, creating a subfolder, but this can be changed. The latest version of Realplayer can be downloaded from
