My reaction to first learning about the yahoo group posted yesterday, smacking forehead lol...

See guys, as flattering as some of you may think it might be for someone to start a Yahoo fan group, using someone else's images... well, what it really comes down to is, it's illegal without permission from the copyright holder. On behalf of us real girls who run our own sites, pay for the equipment to shoot all our silly little pictures/videos, take the time to keep things going & updated, play tech support, build sets, buy props, pay for our bandwidth... this is not a mere hobby for us. This is how some of us actually pay our bills, believe it or not. We take what we do seriously, yet try to have as much fun as we can in the process. We aren't millionares by far.. if we were, then we could just give everything away freely. Please understand that we real women of the internet (I'm speaking of the long hair world, here) would never walk into your place of employment and take your hard work and share it with our friends, ignoring the time and effort it took you to create it. Please don't do it to us. We don't come onto this board yelling: "JOIN MY SITE, JOIN MY SITE!!" We leave that to your discretion and respectfully understand it's up to you on how you spend your hard earned dollar. But please respect us in return and refrain from giving away what isn't yours to give. Leave it up to us to share what's ours.
