Ha Ha... I guess us old guys just aren't with the program today... 72 here...

Many years ago, I had a sandwich shop... my manager was a petite brunette cutie... and very competent.

BUT... she had a pierced tongue... and I always had a hard time seeing it because she would constantly

play with it in her mouth. Back then, it was ok to be the boss and not worry about "offending" anyone.

I told her I was ok with it... but if I EVER heard a customer say "I'm sorry, but I didn't understand you"...

that it came out when she was at work... forever. And guess what?... yup... it happened... right in front of me.

She looked at me and neither of us said a word. She went to the ladies room and came back with it gone.

Done deal and never mentioned again. Today that would be a lawsuit and I'd lose the business.

I don't mind being my age... but today, some of this "political correctness" has to stop.

As for the look... well, we all have our preferences, huh... :-)
