You are correct we are in a era of long hair.

Here in the UK I remember that the Princess of Wales Diana had a huge influence on women's hair styles as women wanted to look like her. I personally hated that hairstyle. Now we have a new Princess of Wales Kate who has long hair and women seem to love long hair styles.

I also have observed that women cut their hair short when they have a baby. Presumably as its easier to manage. My ex girlfriend, who had waist length brunette hair, had a baby with someone else after we split up and cut her hair to chin length.

I have also seen my next door neighbour who had amazing mid back blonde hair for years has just had her hair cut into a bob after she had a baby.

I hope this trend continues and women keep their long hair for many years to come and that another Diana doesn't come along and ruin it.
